Since 1880 Burslem have been providing generations of families throughout the South East with high quality memorials to remember those loved ones, now departed. Our knowledge and expertise enables us to advise on suitable materials, sizes, designs and inscriptions to ensure they meet both the client’s needs and the regulations of the churchyards or Cemeteries throughout the region. This coupled with our patient approach ensures our clients are guided through a difficult time and are well informed on all options and costs before making a decision.

We can offer both traditional and more contemporary memorials, but If a client has an idea of their own, our in-house masons can produce a bespoke memorial where an individual design can be realised. Our dedicated team of experienced staff will discuss initial ideas and can arrange for a drawing to be produced, before discussing the inscription options which can be offered in a variety of fonts and finishes to suit most budgets and time scales.

Burslem do not only offer new memorials but are also specialists in renovation and we can offer competitive quotations for a wide range of work including a simple clean, refixing a memorial level, repairing or repainting lettering, rebuilding a larger memorial or adding an inscription to an existing memorial.

All of our work is carried out to the latest NAMM Code of Working Practice and we have been listed on the British Register of Accredited Memorial Masons (BRAMM) since 2006.

Our well appointed showroom in Frant, has a large display of stone samples including Portland, York, Purbeck, Celtic Limestone, Nabresina, Slate, Granite and Marble, in addition to full size memorials, lettering types and accessories.
